The Traditions Choir Concert

Yasmin Nijem, Editor

For students who do not celebrate Christmas, typical holiday music may feel alienating. The lyrics celebrating a religion they are not a part of are often foreign to them. Our CHS choir director, Mr. Cory Pinto, sympathized with the students who felt this way. Amidst the classic Christmas music, the choir will perform pieces centered around Hanukkah and a Native American composition. The pieces were selected for their messages and the vast amount of talent in the choir department.

The students will perform these diverse songs at the Traditions concert on December 13th, 2018. As the title implies, old traditions will be honored and new ones will be made. Tickets are available for $2 from any choir student, and the show promises to be one to remember.
