Letter to the Class of 2019

Brianna Morrison, Senior Class President

Dear class of 2019,

This is it: senior year. It has been four years in the making! In about seven months, we will walk the field to receive our diplomas. I know although it seems like an eternity but before we know it, we will be graduating, signing yearbooks, and beginning our next chapter. Therefore let’s enjoy the time we still have left.

Senior year will be filled with fun and exciting memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, so we have to make the most of it. There are many exciting and important upcoming events to participate in. The Student/Faculty Volleyball Game will be held on November 30th after school, the Toys for Tots drive will run from November 16 through December 7th, Mr. Cupcake sales begin January 16 and will run until the 30th, and on February 22nd we have the Student/Faculty Basketball game. If you have any questions about any of these events or will like to share an idea, feel free to send us a message @clifton_hs_co19 on Instagram!

Collectively as a class, we have come so far and our journey is yet finished. Neale Donald Walsch once said “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone” so I encourage you for these remaining few months to make conversation with a classmate you have never talked to before, attempt something new, and most importantly never doubt how powerful you are. Because if there is one thing I have learned over the past few years it is that the class of 2019 consists of the most extraordinary people I know.

This year surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who recognize the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself. Despite what your fears and doubts may tell you, your previous chapters, the highs, the lows, the laughs, the tears, they have prepared you for this next chapter. Whether your path will take you to the military, college, a technical school, or into the workforce, I know you will make a difference.
